A few more little poems
Malcolm flicked through the catalogue
Disappointnment flicked across his face
A fly landed on the lawnmowers page
Malcolm flicked it away irritatingly
The fly flew off without a second thought
Cos that's what flies are like
But not the man Malcolm wanted to be
Susie looked out of the kitchen window
A burning sun dipped behind the hills
Leaving a fiery glow
Far off on the horizon
And Susie with a smile.
The lapwing soared angrily
The skylark sang fearfully
The curlew flew past urgently
As we humans walked by calmly
